Technical Support and Service
Petabyte Technology Solutions offers Annual Technical
Support Contracts to our clients, as well as those companies whose systems fall within the
scope of our expertise.
Petabyte Technology Solutions provides three types of
Service Contracts, all of which are payable in advance:
Block Time
- Customer buys Technician hours in advance, at a discounted
rate
- Time is counted in quarter-hour increments
- 2 day maximum response time
- Materials/Parts are not included
- Service Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM
- After hours service is available, but is billable at a
higher than normal rate.
Basic Service
- Service is provided on specified equipment
- Technician time is not billable for service that falls
within the scope of the contract
- Customer pays for all materials/parts, including any spares
kept in stock
- 8 hour maximum response time
- After hours service is available, but is billable at regular
rates.
Premium Service
- Service is provided on specified equipment
- Technician time is not billable for service that falls
within the scope of the contract
- Customer pays for all materials/parts, including any spares
kept in stock
- 4 hour maximum response time
- After hours service is available, but is billable at half of
the regular rate.
All other services are provided on a time and materials
basis.
