| Q. | What is a Petabyte, and why do you use
this for your company name?
|
| A. | One Petabyte is 2 to the power of 50 (250)
Bytes, which is roughly 1 million Gigabytes. Although most of us are nowhere near
necessitating that amount of storage space, there was a time when we thought a 100 MB Hard
Disk was an enormous amount of storage. That wasn't so long ago. We use the word Petabyte in our name, to project an image of foresight, scalability, and the ability to handle both small and large scale business needs. |
