PBCart Ver. 1.2 Released
PBCartTM version 1.2, released on July 8, 2003,
allows you to store catalog information, including image files directly into a mySQL
database, for on-the-fly dynamic display of information to any standard web browser, using
Active Server Pages. ASP is a server technology, developed by Microsoft, which uses the
server's resources to perform functions such as server file system or database access,
performs logic and calculations, and preprocesses the output that will be sent to the
client's browser in plain HTML form.
PBCart does not require the use of a third-party component to store image files to the
database. All the necessary functionality has been coded in pure ASP.
